small construction business owner five years. Diane has worked as a freelance
photojournalist for over ten years. She is adept at change, and can manage
in a changing atmosphere.
Leadership positions in many
civic and church related programs. As volunteer coordinator of a $450,000.00
renovation project, the project was completed in 18 months. Her communications
skills have been utilized in civic organizations to achieve project completions
which had lain dormant for years. Diane consulted withanother church congregation
on a renovation project for $480,000.00 completed in a year.
She furthered her communication
skills while in a leadership position in Toastmsaters International,
and by coordinating a regional speakoff. Diane's technical skills include
desktop publishing, technical writing/editing, sales letters and content
writing. She has designed and operates a web site daily within a Macintosh
environment. She has tripled the sites statistics in the past year. As
a consultant for Alpha Wolf Technologies, they have doubled their contracts.
Her photography skills translate into attractive web pages, many published
articles regional and internationally. Diane participates in artist shows
in the U. S. and Canada.
Sales:
Diane has worked in advertising sales for publications, computer networking
sales, camera retail sales, home remodeling sales, and floral sales in
florist shops. She has provided layout and design services on a freelance
basis.
Freelance Photojournalist
Dianes experience in publishing has included feature articles on
businesses and business owners in newspapers and regional publications
in the Maryland area since 1985. As the owner and Editor-in-Chief of the
FEELING GREAT newspaper, she wrote on health related information. Many
of the articles were profiles of new owners / doctors, and their business
at the time. Some articles covered alternative medicine in the Annapolis,
Maryland area. Articles were written about the condition of the Chesapeake
Bay and then published in the Bay Times Weekly. A series of profiles of
women business owners and managers were published in the Severna Park
Village Voice. Other pieces were published by "Chesapeake Children"
and "Whats Up" magazine. Internationally her articles and photographs
have appeared in publications in Windsor, Ontario Canada in 2005-2006.
Most recently she has had articles published in The City Times newspaper
(2005) in Windsor Ontario,Canada, and (profile on the Senior Moments program
in the Windsor Police Department, and an interview with Mayor Eddie Francis
regarding his feelings about the proposed Schwartz plan regarding the
Canadian / US Border for The City Times Newspaper 2005). The Scoop Newspaper
as a continuing contributor, and Old Autos newspaper (2006) Windsor, Ontario
Canada.
Currently she publishes an online
web site http://www.911info.net and provides emergency information to
the public as well as news information on natural disasters.
